SnapChat’s Cameo to Edit Your Face into GIFs
The company has confirmed that soon it will release the feature and that will be available publicly across the globe. According to Snapchat, a Cameo feature will insert your face into a selection of (currently pre-made) GIFs. You only have to capture a selfie, choose a generic body type and it will animate your face, including the movements of your mouth. Well it is a friendly deepfake instead of creepy. The company has rolled out the feature in some international markets but that was just for testing purpose. Some users have also shared that on social media platforms.
